Research on Solar Building Envelopes
My research has investigated the architectural design of active solar facades, focusing on the potential for creating bespoke photovoltaic skins which can enhance the quality of public spaces and improve buildings' performance towards zero-energy standards. Exploring ways of facilitating the early design process, the research has employed a variety of methods including computational techniques and virtual reality.
