Architectural spaces that evoke dance with light, colour and motion
Dancing Spaces is an ongoing research looking into the possibility of shaping spaces that evoke dance with light, colour and motion, also starting from existing structures. When outdoor, a frame can be partly coated with silicon to harvest solar energy. Motorized curtains can slide and spin within the frame in a choreography composed through custom-designed algorithms and synchronized with sound and light effects. The overall system can be solar-powered and the performing space seems to be extended by surrounding surfaces reflecting the dance.
